EMR

Emergency Medical Responders are first responders who are able to provide basic immediate care while awaiting further EMS personnel. 

EMT

Emergency Medical Technicians provide prehospital care on scene and in the ambulance enroute to a higher level of care. 

AEMT

Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians provide basic and limited advanced emergency medical care, using interventions available in the ambulance prior to and during transportation to hospitals.
